As President of the Student Government Association and a member of the Mercy Navigators program, Marcela exemplifies dedication, leadership, and service. Motivated by a commitment to serving underrepresented communities, she plans to pursue medical school and effect positive change within her community. 

She is also active in the Latin American Student Organization, participates in four additional student clubs, and is a member of the Mercy Scholars program. Marcela is a passionate advocate for her peers and a true example of academic excellence and community engagement.
