Liz Longmore, MSN, RN, is Vice President of Ambulatory Services for Stamford Health and Chief Operating Officer for Stamford Health Medical Group. With over 25 years of healthcare expertise, Liz began her career in nursing where she worked in women’s healthcare and expanded her professional experience to emergency services and critical care.
As her career developed, she held roles in clinical, educational and operational leadership. Prior to her current role, Liz spearheaded all clinical aspects of the design, construction and operationalization of the new Stamford Hospital which opened its doors in September of 2016. Liz received her nursing degree from Cochran School of Nursing and her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Mercy College. Liz resides in Ridgefield, CT with her husband and three children.
